MICHELE ZATTERA		Ha iniziato gli studi musicali con la chitarra classica sotto la guida dei maestri NERO DANI FRANCO ZORZI e FRANCO LORENZO. Successivamente ha rivolto il suo interesse alla musica jazz dedicandosi alla chitarra elettrica studiando presso la scuola “DIZZY GILLESPIE” di Bassano del Grappa con SANDRO GIBELLINI e successivamente con AUGUSTO MANCINELLI. Con il chitarrista vicentino MICHELE CALGARO ha poi esplorato le possibilità della tecnica del fingerpiking sempre nell’ambito jazzistico ed affinato la tecnica dell’improvvisazione. Ha insegnato e insegna chitarra jazz-moderna in diverse scuole di musica del vicentino, tra cui: ”THELONIOUS” di Vicenza, “ISTITUTO MUSICALE città di THIENE”, “ISTITUTO CIVICO MUSICALE SCLEDENSE”, “PROGETTO MUSICA” di Valdagno. Nel 2002-2003 ha collaborato con il cantante americano Darrel Hill in concerti gospel ed attualmente svolge un’intensa attività concertistica con il quintet del contrabbassista TONI MORETTI, con il quale ha inciso i CD “Entrèe” e “Yes I Will”, e con varie altre formazioni di carattere jazzistico. Nel 2005 ha collaborato con l’Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto, sotto la direzione del compositore-direttore Alexandre Rabinovitch. He begins his musical career studying classic guitar with the teachers NERO DANI FRANCO ZORZI e FRANCO LORENZO. Then he dedicates his interest to jazz guitar and improvisation technique at the school “DIZZY GILLESPIE” in Bassano del Grappa with the teacher SANDRO GIBELLINI ad then with AUGUSTO MANCINELLI. Subsequently he explored the fingerpicking style in jazz music and he refines the improvisation technique with the guitarist MICHELE CALGARO At present he teaches modern and jazz guitar at the school: ”THELONIUS” in Vicenza, “MUSIC INSTITUTE” in THIENE”, “CIVIC MUSIC INSTITUT SCLEDENSE”. He collaborates with the saxophonist OTTONE CARETTA in the “OTTO QUARTET". He has recently performed with Darrel Hill, an American gospel singer. He is a component of the “TONI MORETTI QUINTET".
